The January transfer window is always a time of significant rumour and potential big-money deals. Numerous prominent players are being connected to transfers away from their current teams. Here is a look at a selection of the major figures who are poised to be on the move in January.

A. Semenyo

Although the Black Stars' inability to qualify for the AFCON, this has left the forward in contention, reports suggest an important move is close. This 25-year-old has a contract with a substantial release clause active for a two-week window at the start of the month. Recent reports point to the Premier League champions have emerged as his services. M. Guéhi

This England defender has continued to excel for Crystal Palace this season a previous transfer to Liverpool collapsing. The experienced Germany shot-stopper finds himself as the third option at Barça under the coach Flick. After lost his place and had surgery, a winter departure seems increasingly probable.
